OCR & Outdoor Glove - Cold Weather (BLACK/YELLOW)
The OCR & Outdoor Glove is the first generation model in OMPU's quest to develop the worlds best OCR glove. We are continually developing the glove and working on improvements. That's why we ask to send any comments, questions, and concerns so that we can continue to develop the premier outdoor glove.

During the development, we spoke with the elite OCR racers to make sure that we designed the glove to meet all of their needs, while maintaining good grip and protection in various types of harsh environments and weather.
Here's how you can use this:
Even if you're not a OCR athlete, this glove may be your new favorite glove. We've received praise from kayakers, trail runners, and even gun enthusiasts.
- Deep rubber grooves provide grip despite harsh conditions and is cut based on the anatomy of the hand.
- The hexagonal pattern gives a little "edge" in any direction, giving the best possible grip in all directions and most obstructions.
- Airprene base layer is a form of the Neoprene with small air holes which is water resistent. Airprene retains heat in wet and cold conditions while allowing your hand to breath in some warmer conditions.
- Mesh on the back of the hand allows the hand to breathe and drain water.
Materials: To manufacture a glove is very special. The material should be water resistant, not too heavy when the glove gets wet, and yet also have the ability to retain heat during chilly conditions. A cold hand makes it hard to grasp anything, let alone a rope. While drainage is a factor, we use a form of the Neoprene as we have done with small air holes. We call it Airprene.
Grip: The eternal struggle!!! The glove must be smooth and tight (ie, not stretch or become flaccid when wet). The glove must be able to grip when wet, and above all muddy. It requires a rough pattern, and a material that grips. We use a special rubber that we have designed and cut for anatomy. Moreover, we have a pattern (hexagon) that gives a little "edge" in any direction giving the best possible grip in all directions and most obstructions.
